Florence is known as a pedestrian-friendly city, with all of the major museums, palazzos, and squares located within easy walking distance. The friendly ambiance of this genteel Tuscan capital will set you at ease as you wander along its cobblestoned streets lined with shops and restaurants. During your stay a local Florentine guide will lead you on a private journey of exploration throughout the city, where you’ll marvel at the fascinating story of Florence, both past and present.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Ben Venuti a Firenze!

Arrive in Florence and check into your beautiful 4-Star hotel, centrally located in the heart of Florence. The afternoon and evening is free to relax, wander the nearby environs and find a special place for dinner. The cuisine of Florence is famous even in Italy, a country known for its cuisine. You’ll find no shortage of outstanding ristorante, many located in beautiful squares with romantic views, perfect for people watching. An after-dinner stroll through the winding streets, alive with people and energy, will be the perfect ending to your first day in Florence.

Day 2 - Renaissance Magic

After breakfast today your local Florentine guide will meet your Go Get Lost group in the lobby of your hotel for your private walking tour. You have an exciting day ahead of you! The rich tapestry of Florentine history will unfold as you explore the historical district of the Renaissance City. Prepare to be enthralled by the massive Cathedral complex, the Piazza Della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio and the Church of Santa Croce. The local guides are a never-ending source of wonderment, as they’ll not only lead you through some of the most famous and majestic sites, but they’ll also fill in the blanks with a limitless amount of fascinating details about everyday life in the city, both past and present.
The afternoon is free for exploring on your own. Florence has an abundance of sites that will fill your day…the world famous Uffizi Gallery, the Boboli Gardens, or the Accademia Gallery. Or perhaps your preference will be to wander the fashionable shopping districts and open-air markets of the city, perusing the current Italian style. Whatever you see here today will be the height of fashion in the U.S. next year!

Tonight you’re free to ramble the town to find a place for dinner. Perhaps you’ll end up at a spot recommended by your local guide, maybe you’ll stumble on a special place on your own. Whichever, it’s easy to find a wonderful dining experience in magical Florence.

Day 3 - Arrivederci Firenze

This morning we'll have breakfast before you continue to your next destination, whether that means joining us on a group tour, starting your own adventure, or reluctantly heading home.
