Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Milan, Italy (D)

At your arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport in the morning, you will meet your driver for the private transfer to the luxury 5-star Baglioni Carlton Hotel located in the heart of the city. Free afternoon in Milan: we recommend to visit the “Last Supper” of Leonardo da Vinci, the Sforza’s Castle, and the magnificent Cathedral (the Duomo), climbing to the terrace for an astonishing view of the city.

Take time in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and in the renowned Via Monte Napoleone and Via della Spiga for a fashion tour among the top Italian brand shops of the fashion district. Tonight, you will have a convivial welcome dinner in a typical “osteria” (informal restaurant) in the city: don’t miss the opportunity to taste the cotoletta alla Milanese (veal steak) as well as a superb risotto alla Milanese (rice with saffron).

During the dinner, your Italian tour director will explain the tour’s details and will answer all your questions about the coming days.

Day 2 - Lamborghini Factory (B, D)

Early breakfast and check-out, then have a short transfer a few kilometers away from Milan - where your FIAT 500 is waiting for you - it's time to start your fabulous driving tour! Drive to Sant'Agata and reach one of the most iconic symbols of the Motor Valley: Lamborghini! Enjoy a visit to the factory and the museum of this historic Italian manufacturer of luxury cars, whose symbol is a charging bull.

In the afternoon, drive to Bologna city: check-in to your luxury 5-star Grand Hotel Baglioni Majestic, located in the city center, only a few steps from Piazza Maggiore and the other main sites of the city. Relax in your elegant and spacious room or venture out to explore the area. Later, return to your hotel in Bologna for the evening and enjoy dinner in the magnificent dining room with frescoes dated back to XV century, then enjoy an evening at leisure in the city.

Day 3 - Awesome Food and Vintage Cars (B, L)

After breakfast, leave the city to experience your full day in the Food & Motor Valley. Enjoy the guided visit to the Pagani Factory: it is more like a high-tailoring atelier, or an artist's studio than a car factory... You will be enchanted by the challenges of Horacio Pagani, one of the most unique car designers in the world – inspired by Leonardo da Vinci – in building a “perfect car”, mixing at the same time engineering and art.

After Pagani, enjoy a private visit to the acetaia of a local outstanding producer of a superb “black gold”, the Modena’s balsamic vinegar: under the careful guidance of the owners, visit the acetaia then sample the several types of vinegar, aged in wooden mall barrels from 12 to over 50 years.

Have a delicious typical lunch together with the friendly owners in the same property. After lunch you will love an exclusive private “behind-closed-doors” visit to Cremonini: one of the best luxury classic car restorers in the world.

This is a very special treat for sport car owners: we'll be welcomed by the friendly owner Roberto in his car bodywork shop, that represent a real temple for all car collectors in the world, many of whom claim the utmost secrecy and respect for privacy for the restorations done to their cars.

You will have the chance to ask all technical questions about your Ferrari and have a short exploring tour seeing these artisans at work on vintage cars.

In the evening return to your hotel in Bologna where you're free to find a special restaurant on your own.

Day 4 - Ferrari Experience (B, D)

Have a delicious breakfast in the hotel, then enjoy morning at leisure in Bologna or choose one of our options.

Ferrari Driving Experience and Cheese Tasting

Enjoy this exclusive Ferrari Driving experience: a 3-hours tour along the curvy roads around Maranello (through the challenging hills and mountains of the Appennino, where you will test the performances of your car), with one Ferrari car for each participant and an expert pilot riding along.

Day 5 - Bologna Food Market and Gala Dinner (B, L, D)

After breakfast, enjoy a food market walking tour in Bologna with an expert chef: visit the morning market in the city center following her as you choose the best ingredients for lunch.

You'll also visit some food shops, sampling the best specialties of Emilia-Romagna in a tasteful itinerary for passionate “foodie”. At the end, follow the chef to her kitchen and in a warm relaxed atmosphere you will prepare attractive and delicious dishes, during a hands-on cooking class using seasonal ingredients. Your class will be followed by a convivial lunch with the chef.

Enjoy your early afternoon at leisure in Bologna, then return in hotel: in the late afternoon you will board a private coach to Maranello for a memorable exclusive evening.

In Maranello, you'll be surprised by a unique and incomparable private guided tour of the Ferrari Museum after opening hours. All the area will be closed to visitors: the driving simulators, the guide and all the staff will be at your disposal for the whole VIP evening. End your VIP Ferrari experience with a special gourmet dinner in the “Hall of Victory”; it will be really an unforgettable evening for all of you!

Day 6 - Marvelous Florence (B)

After breakfast, check-out of your hotel, then transfer to Florence: check-in at your 4-star hotel in the city center, only a few steps from the main sites. Then meet your handpicked guide for a half-day guided tour through the main sites of Florence: from Ponte Vecchio to the Duomo, the Giotto’s Bell’s Tower and the Accademia Gallery, that hosts the Michelangelo’s masterpiece “Statue of David”.

Enjoy lunch on your own in this incredible city. Of course we'll give you our tips about the best café and bistro in the city center. Don't missed the “truffled panini” in one of the most ancient food shops in the city center!

Day 7 - Medieval Tuscany: San Gimignano and Siena (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast, then check out and leave the hotel driving to San Gimignano: have a tour at leisure of the Medieval town, considered an “open-air museum”. Love its several towers and its peaceful atmosphere, and enjoy its large number of art treasures. We'll even direct you to what is considered by many as "The World's Best Gelato", where former gelato world champion Sergio Dondoli creates his masterpieces!

After the tour, we'll drive a few kilometers and to visit a country farm. We'll follow the owner exploring the property and then enjoy a delightful lunch with their products, such as ham and several kinds of salami, and home-made recipes passed down for generations.

After lunch we'll drive to to Siena where you'll meet your expert local guide and enjoy a lovely tour in the city center, visiting the famous Piazza del Palio and the marvelous Duomo, with its spectacular marble floor. You'll also love a tailored “behind-closed-doors” to a contrada (district) that attended the last “Palio” (historical horse race) and learn the history of its tradition and more about the rivalry and alliances among the different contrade.

Late in the afternoon drive to your Tuscan luxury 5-star Hotel Castello di Casole, situated on a historic 4,200-acre private estate in the heart of Tuscany. Enjoy its spacious lawns and terraces, the amphitheater and intimate tiny church, surrounded by the vineyards and olive groves.

Enjoy a cooking show by the hotel’s friendly chef, and discover some secrets about the Tuscan cuisine: learn how to make typical “gnudi”, the hand-made pasta (from tagliatelle to ravioli) and cantucci biscuits. Then have a convivial dinner with the chef.

Day 8 - Indulge in Tuscan Countryside (B, L, D)

Have breakfast, then leave your hotel for a full-day tour in the Val d’Orcia wine region. Enjoy the characteristic tiny hamlets on the way and the breathtaking Tuscan views: fall in love with the small hamlet of Montalcino, known worldwide for its celebrated Brunello di Montalcino red aged wine.

You'll love the visit to a top rated winery of the region, with an expert sommelier and enjoy a glass of wine sampling local products.

Then move to the nearby town of Pienza and enjoy the private visit to a cheese farm: follow the friendly passionate owner, then love a delicious lunch with Tuscan crostini, home-made pasta (maltagliati or pici) and a superb selection of their own cheeses (love the typical pecorino) ending with a delightful home-made cake.

Stop in the enchanting medieval towns of Montepulciano and San Quirico d’Orcia and have a nice stroll at leisure along their narrow streets, before returning in hotel.

Enjoy un unforgettable dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. Love the typical Italian menu: homemade pasta, locally sourced meat, exceptional seafood, garden-fresh produce, and of course, endless fresh bread and estate-grown extra virgin olive oil.

Day 9 - From Tuscany to Lake Como (B, L)

Have a delightful breakfast in your hotel, then leave Tuscany as you depart for Lake Como, the last part of your amazing itinerary.

On the road, stop for an exclusive visit to an excellent producer of Prosciutto Crudo di Parma (raw ham) and other salami: enjoy a delicious lunch in a marvelous location, starting from a sampling of different salami of their production!

After lunch, finish the drive to Lake Como.

Stop to drop-off your cars, then have a short transfer to your 4-star hotel, the Grand Hotel Imperiale, which looks over Lake Como.

Relax in the hotel and enjoy dinner at leisure on the shores of Lake Como. After dinner, take a short walk from the hotel and fall in love with the panoramic views over the lake in the small town of Moltrasio.

Day 10 - Boat Tour on Lake Como (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast, then, late in the morning, meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and join your private boat for a boat excursion on the lake! Enjoy a 6-hours guided tour on Lake Como, visiting marvelous noble villas and their gorgeous flowered gardens. Stop at the Villa del Balbianello for a walk in the park and a visit to the villa, then have a nice stroll in the small charming town of Bellagio.

Visit the charming less known Isola Comacina and have a tasteful lunch in a renowned locanda, before continue to the marvelous Villa Melzi to visit its extraordinary frescoed rooms.

In the afternoon return to your hotel and relax before dinner.

This evening you will celebrate the end of your holiday in Italy with an awesome farewell dinner in the hotel’s elegant dining room.

Day 11 -Arrivederci! (B)
